After reading this article, my question to you is, "What kind of eggs do you want to serve at your breakfast table?" Your choices are chickens raised in "battery cages" like the photo above, or chickens allowed to live naturally and more humanely (free-range) such as we do at Huevos de Amor San Jorge. I think the choice is pretty obvious!
Another point to make is that when egg producers label their eggs as "organic", that does not necessarily mean that the chickens are free-range. Due diligence is always a good idea to clarify and/or verify if the eggs you are buying come from hens that have been raised in a battery cage, eat organic feed, or are free-range.
